Our Professional Process Means We Never Cut Corners
When you work with Ultimate Innovations you can expect a process that puts you first with transparent pricing and warranties to ensure everything lasts. This is how we do it:
Step 1 - Phone Consultation
Fill out our online contact form to provide us with more information about your property and your needs. After submitting your information, we will reach out to you for a phone consultation to discuss your needs and budget to determine if we’re a good fit for each other.
Step 2 - On-site Evaluation
For Design-Build projects, your project manager will arrive at your property and conduct a complete evaluation. We’ll discuss the plan for your project and take photos and measurements. After we have all the details we’ll prepare your design agreement and have you sign off and pay the design investment which starts at $2,800. Part of your design investment goes toward your deposit when you choose our team to complete your build.
For Maintenance projects, your maintenance operations manager will meet with you on your property to review your landscape and discuss the maintenance services you need. Our maintenance team conducts a complete evaluation of your property, including inspection of your trees, lighting system, irrigation system, and other elements of your landscape. We identify materials that need to be maintained or replaced. After the evaluation, we will work on your agreement.
Step 3 - Design
Your landscape designer will visit your property with the project manager to kick-off your design by discussing your vision for your landscape and gathering information for the preliminary design. Typically 2-4 weeks after your kick-off meeting, we’ll present your design plan either in-person or in a virtual meeting. Your design plan will include all of the fine details down to plant names and locations. Any plan changes will be addressed before we obtain your approval for the final design.
Step 4 - Agreement
Your design-build agreement will be available within 7-10 business days and will be line-itemized so you can choose the elements you want to keep and remove. The deposit is due at the time of signing: small jobs require 50% upfront and larger jobs 10% down.
Typical maintenance plans include a 3-year agreement with a 2% to 3% price increase each year. Monthly billing occurs on the 1st of each month.
Step 5 - Work Begins
For design-build projects we follow the agreed-upon schedule to complete the work. Our team always shows up on time and we keep you apprised of progress. For larger projects, payment checkpoints will occur throughout the process.
Maintenance services will be performed on the same day and time each week.
Step 6 - Ongoing Care
Upon completion of your project, the Supervisor and Operations Manager will walk through your property with you and share care tips and offer maintenance plans. A 90-day warranty is provided for hardscapes, irrigation, and planting which is extended to a 3-year warranty for customers who choose our team for maintenance.
